When it comes to imaging, we understand that rising costs can be a concern. That's why we've partnered with a local imaging group to offer transparent, flat fees for services, including plain film X-rays, ultrasounds, CTs, and MRIs. Their prices are often less than half of what you'd pay at a local hospital or other imaging center, providing a significant cost-saving opportunity for our members.

Dr. Aluri offers a range of in-office procedures. Many traditional practices will refer you to specialists because their providers don’t have time to perform simple procedures. Dr. Aluri’s experience in urgent care means he can complete simple procedures in the office, saving you time and money. We provide as much of your care as possible within our direct care practice so you can get the most out of your membership. When we do in-office procedures such as a skin biopsy or wart removal, or if we administer medications in the office such as a steroid injection or a Depo-Provera shot, we do have an additional fee to cover the cost of the supplies or the medication used in the procedure. However, these costs will be markedly less than what you'd find in a traditional office. For example, a skin biopsy may cost $25-$50 in our office, whereas it would start around $150 in a traditional setting. A dose of a steroid could be administered for around $10 with us compared to $50 or more in a conventional setting. Our goal is to provide comprehensive services for our patients without breaking the bank.

We include in-office testing as an additional benefit of membership. This includes simple diagnostic testing performed in the office to help with diagnosis and treatment. Some examples include urinalysis, rapid strep test, Flu or COVID testing, body analysis testing, or other simple tests. In a traditional practice, all these tests incur additional charges. However, as a member, you can feel secure knowing that many tests are included with your membership, and you will never be surprised by hidden fees. If you need further testing not included in your membership, we will be fully transparent about costs upfront, ensuring you are always informed.

One of our goals at Fort Wayne Direct Primary Care is to help you save money in all aspects of your healthcare. In addition to our valuable membership, we help you save money for services outside of our office as well.  We partner with local labs to offer negotiated cash pricing on lab tests. By paying the lab directly, you get the same testing at a fraction of the price. Many patients with high-deductible plans can save money by paying cash for these services. Companies often charge far less for care when they are not billing insurance.

We help members save money on medications in multiple ways. We help you check sites like GoodRx to find the least expensive medications and the best pricing at local pharmacies. We offer discounted medications on-site or via home delivery. Members with traditional insurance can still use their pharmacy of choice if desired. Most members will find significant savings by partnering with our practice for discounted medications and supplements. These regular savings can add up quickly and help offset your DPC membership fee.

All office visits are included in your membership. We want to give you ample time to discuss your concerns and ask questions. Many patients delay seeing their family doctor due to high-priced office visits. Our members enjoy unlimited visits, often the SAME or NEXT DAY, as part of your membership.

Having easy and ready access to your medical records is the first step to being an informed patient. Our online patient portal allows you to view portions of your medical chart. This includes your current diagnoses, medication list, vital signs, lab results, and immunization records.
